HVAC for Toronto homes.
Ductless, boilers & furnace service.
Toronto homes can need more than a straightforward equipment swap. Climate Experts specializes in installations in older Toronto homes, helping homeowners work through heating, cooling and ventilation options while considering existing finishes, radiator systems, available space and the way the rooms are used.
Older Toronto homes deserve a thoughtful installation plan.
We bring experience with small renovations and additions, basement-underpinning HVAC work, hydronic systems and everyday equipment replacements. That range helps us discuss the work behind a proposed solution: where equipment can go, how piping or ductwork can be routed and which existing components can be retained. The aim is to make the scope understandable before installation begins.

Ductless heating and cooling without relying on full-home ductwork.
Ductless mini-splits are a strong option to explore for homes without ductwork and for rooms that never feel comfortable through every season. We compare suitable indoor styles and locations, including ceiling cassettes and concealed arrangements where the construction allows. Compatible multi-zone equipment can serve several areas, but room requirements, access and system design determine the final proposal.
Boilers, radiators and radiant comfort in Toronto.
A home with hot-water heating requires attention to the boiler, distribution, emitters and controls as a system. Climate Experts can discuss boiler replacement or repair, radiator options, radiant floors and towel warmers. If you are considering an all-electric change, air-to-water heat pumps and electric boilers can be explored against the heating requirements, supply-water temperatures and available electrical capacity.
Furnace replacement and central A/C are part of the same expertise.
We also install, service and maintain conventional furnaces, central air conditioners and heat pumps for Toronto homeowners. Tell us whether you need an immediate repair or are planning a replacement. For an agreed installation scope, pricing is fixed from start to finish. Our Pickering-based service department supports the equipment as maintenance and repair needs arise.
Older Toronto homes, custom homes and renovations.
Toronto homes ask more of an HVAC contractor than a standard equipment change. An older radiator home, a newly underpinned basement and a custom build need different approaches to heat, cooling and ventilation. Climate Experts specializes in hydronic heating and custom-home HVAC, with consulting available before the mechanical design is finalized.
Our experience includes custom homes up to 14,000 square feet and certified passive homes up to 4,500 square feet. We bring that planning approach to renovations as well: understand the building, identify the comfort problems and design around the finished rooms. Our Toronto focus is boiler work, custom homes and renovations, and ductless heating and cooling.
Toronto boiler replacement, radiator heating and hydronic renovations.
In an older Toronto home, the boiler is one part of the heating system. We review the radiators, distribution piping, pumps, controls and heating demand before recommending a replacement. Cold rooms, uneven temperatures and frequent cycling deserve investigation; replacing the appliance alone may leave the same comfort problems behind.
Where cast-iron radiators are worth retaining, we plan the new boiler around them. Where a renovation adds in-floor heating, a hydronic air handler or new zones, we assess how the different emitters and water temperatures will work together. Domestic hot water can be planned around a combi boiler or a separate indirect tank, depending on household demand and the chosen arrangement.
Boiler service access, venting, condensate management and controls belong in the plan from the start. We install Navien and IBC options and explain the system differences in your proposal. Explore boiler and radiator heating for older Toronto homes, in-floor heating and hydronic air handlers.
Custom-home HVAC and renovation consulting in Toronto.
Bring us in before the HVAC drawings are locked in. Early consulting gives the homeowner, builder and designer time to discuss noise, room comfort, equipment choices and a realistic budget. We look at the must-haves and explain the mechanical space needed to deliver them.
For a custom home, that may mean combining radiant floors with cooling and ventilation, choosing concealed air handlers, or planning an all-electric system. For a renovation, it may mean retaining the parts of the existing heating system that work and redesigning the areas affected by new rooms, windows, insulation or floor layouts.
We coordinate equipment access, ceiling routes, return air, zoning and controls so the mechanical system fits the architecture. Basement underpinning, additions and finished upper floors should be considered as part of the whole home. See our custom-home HVAC approach and laneway and garden-suite heating and cooling.
Ductless mini-splits for Toronto radiator homes, additions and upper floors.
A home can keep its boiler and radiators while gaining ductless cooling. This is useful when there is no full duct system or when running new ducts would disrupt finished rooms. We also assess ductless heating and cooling for additions, home offices, upper floors and suites with different comfort needs.
We compare wall-mounted heads, floor units, ceiling cassettes and concealed ducted indoor units. A single-zone system serves one area; a multi-zone arrangement connects compatible indoor units to one outdoor unit. The design depends on room loads, operating patterns, drainage, line routes and service access—not simply the number of rooms.
If a heat pump will be the primary winter heat source, we review its output at outdoor design conditions and the backup strategy. If it supplements boiler heat, we explain how the two systems will be controlled. Compare ductless indoor-unit styles, Mitsubishi systems and Daikin systems.
Start with the home, then choose the equipment.
Tell us whether your project is a boiler replacement, a comfort problem in an older home, a renovation or a new custom build. Floor plans, photos of the mechanical room, the existing model numbers and a list of rooms that feel uncomfortable help us start a useful conversation.
We discuss your budget and compare the appropriate options before recommending equipment. Lennox furnaces and air conditioners, Navien boilers and tankless water heaters, IBC hydronic equipment and our other manufacturer pages explain the product choices. Request Toronto HVAC consulting or a quote.
