Climate Experts · Authorized Regency dealer

Regency fireplaces.
Installed with care.

Climate Experts is an authorized Regency dealer. Picture the room where you settle in at the end of the day: a welcoming flame, a comfortable place to sit, and a fireplace that belongs in your home. Climate Experts helps you choose a Regency fireplace with both the finished look and the installation in mind. From our Pickering location, we work with homeowners across Durham Region and Toronto to plan a fireplace that suits the space, your comfort priorities and your budget.

Regency linear fireplace in a furnished living room

Regency fireplaces, with Climate Experts beside you.

A fireplace should feel like a thoughtful part of the room, not a decision made from a model number alone. Tell us whether you are replacing an older unit, updating an existing fireplace opening, or adding a new feature during a renovation. We explain the suitable formats and the work involved before you settle on equipment.

Climate Experts has been part of the Pickering community since 2012. Founded by Cody Johnson, our company brings a local team, pride in our workmanship and broad heating experience to the conversation. We want you to feel comfortable asking how the fireplace will operate, where the installation can work and what is included in the proposal.

Start with the room—not a long list of options.

The best starting point is how you want to use the fireplace. Are you looking for warmth during quiet evenings, a focal point for a renovated living room, or a way to update an opening that is already there? We review the space and the heating role together so appearance does not become the only deciding factor.

Gas fireplaces

Consider a built-in traditional or contemporary look. The assessment includes the gas supply, venting route, selected appliance requirements and finishing around the fireplace.

Gas fireplace inserts

An insert may be suitable for an existing fireplace opening. We review the opening, chimney and venting arrangement, required clearances and the surrounding finish before proposing a fit.

Electric fireplaces

Explore flame effects and different built-in arrangements without a gas supply. We review the appliance’s electrical needs, installation requirements and the heating role you expect it to provide.

Stoves, wood, pellet & outdoor options

Regency’s wider catalogue includes other fireplace formats and fuels. Ask us about the model you like so we can confirm Canadian availability, suitability and the installation or specialist work needed for your project.

A larger viewing area does not automatically mean a better heating match. We consider room size, the heat you want, how close people will sit and the available control options. Model-specific instructions determine the framing, venting, clearances and finishing—not the appearance of a photograph.

Explore the Regency fireplace range.

Before installation, Climate Experts confirms the selected model’s fuel or electrical supply, venting where applicable, clearances and service access. Body, viewing and framing dimensions are different measurements. Canadian availability and warranty depend on the exact appliance; the room preview is a visual planning aid.

Open a category to browse the models, or search for a particular name. The collection below follows Regency’s current North American English catalogue, including gas and electric fireplaces, inserts, stoves and outdoor products. Your Climate Experts proposal confirms Canadian orderability, the selected configuration, accessories and installation scope; a catalogue listing does not indicate stock at our Pickering location.

Regency fireplace models for renovations and custom homes.

Current manufacturer-listed options include U900E and U1500E from the Ultimate range, and HZ40E and HZ54E from the Horizon range. These are model references for comparing styles; the exact appliance, fuel configuration, trim and installation requirements are confirmed in your proposal. Compare models and specifications.

During a Toronto renovation or custom build, choose the fireplace before the wall and millwork are finalized. We review the room’s heating needs, viewing position, vent route, approved clearances and service access. A linear fireplace, traditional fireplace and insert are different installation choices: an existing opening should be assessed before a replacement is selected.

Bring the room plans, the finish you want and photos of the existing fireplace if there is one. We discuss what fits the space and coordinate the mechanical requirements with the builder. See our custom-home consulting and Toronto renovation approach.

Fireplace installation & replacement, with a clear plan.

Replacing an older fireplace can change the room you already enjoy. Adding a fireplace may require more work around venting, gas or electrical supply, framing and finishes. We assess those practical details before recommending equipment, so you can understand the full proposed installation rather than just the price of the unit.

1. Tell us about your space

Share a room photo, your location and what you would like to change. If you are replacing a fireplace, include its model information and pictures of the existing opening where available.

2. Review the installation

Assess the opening or proposed location, heat requirements, supply connections, venting where required, clearances and access. Identify any related finishing or specialist trade work.

3. Confirm equipment & price

Your approved proposal identifies the selected fireplace, configuration, accessories and included installation work. We provide fixed pricing from start to finish, with no hidden fees or additional costs for that quoted scope.

4. Explain your new fireplace

Check the installed operation and walk you through the relevant controls, everyday use and care. You will know where to find the selected model’s instructions and who to call with questions.

A photograph or room preview helps us discuss appearance, but the installation assessment confirms what can work. If another trade is completing electrical, masonry, enclosure or finishing work, the proposal identifies the responsibility and coordination needed.

Financing is subject to credit approval. Review the lender’s offered terms and total borrowing costs before accepting an agreement.

Fireplace service, repairs & ongoing care.

If your fireplace is not operating as expected, tell us the make, model and what has changed. A control issue, ignition concern or problem with the installed arrangement needs assessment before a repair is chosen. Our team can review the enquiry and confirm the appropriate service appointment and scope for your equipment.

Operation & controls

Explain what the fireplace does when you try to use it and whether a remote or thermostat is involved. Model details help us plan the assessment.

Maintenance & condition

Care requirements vary by fuel, appliance and installation. Follow the selected manufacturer’s instructions and ask us about the professional maintenance appropriate to your unit.

Repair or replacement

We discuss the findings, proposed work and parts requirements before agreed repairs proceed. If replacement is the better option, we explain the installation implications as well as the equipment choice.

Ask us about ongoing fireplace care alongside the other equipment in your home. Fireplace maintenance is quoted and confirmed separately; it is not automatically included in the furnace/air-handler and heat-pump/A/C Maintenance 365 base plan.

Questions about fireplace selection & installation.

Can you help me choose a Regency fireplace?

Yes. Climate Experts is a Regency dealer. Start with your room, the look you like, the heat you want and your budget. We review suitable options and confirm the equipment and installation scope in your proposal.

What is the difference between a fireplace and an insert?

A built-in fireplace is installed in an appropriate enclosure. An insert is designed for a suitable existing fireplace opening. The opening, venting arrangement, clearances and model instructions determine whether an insert can be proposed.

Can I replace my older gas fireplace with a larger one?

It needs assessment. The opening, framing, venting, gas supply, clearances and finishes may need changes. We explain what can be retained and what additional work is required before equipment is selected.

Does a gas fireplace need venting?

The venting must follow the selected appliance’s installation instructions and applicable requirements. We assess the approved venting arrangement and route. Do not assume a gas model can be installed without a vent because an electric fireplace can.

Can an electric fireplace be used without a gas line?

Electric models do not use a gas supply. Their electrical connection, framing, clearances and heating role still need to suit the selected unit and location.

Does the room tool show the exact installed fireplace?

No. It places a movable manufacturer photograph over your room photo or camera image. It is an approximate appearance comparison, not measured augmented reality or an installation drawing. Display walls and accessories may appear in the source photo.

Are all the catalogue models available in Canada?

The collection follows the manufacturer’s North American English listings. We confirm Canadian orderability, configuration and availability for your specific enquiry before including a model in a proposal.

Is the installation price fixed?

The approved proposal identifies the included installation work and fixed price for that scope. Equipment, accessories and any related work are agreed before the installation proceeds.
