Continental fireplaces.
Warmth that feels at home.

A fireplace can change how you enjoy a room—from the living room where everyone gathers to the space you are finally ready to renovate. Climate Experts helps you explore Continental fireplaces with a clear view of both the style and the work behind it. Tell us what you would like to create, and our Pickering-based team will help you narrow the choices around your space, comfort priorities and budget.

Continental linear fireplace in a furnished living room

Continental options. Climate Experts guidance.

A long product list is only helpful when you know what to look for. We begin with the room, whether there is an existing fireplace, how much heating you want and the finish you have in mind. From there, we can discuss suitable gas or electric options and the practical installation details that influence the proposal.

Our company has served the Pickering community since 2012. We bring the same attention to fireplace enquiries that we bring to the other heating systems in your home: listen carefully, explain the options in everyday language and take pride in the finished work. You have a local team to contact before installation and afterward.

Choose the format before choosing the model.

A traditional gas fireplace

A familiar fireplace shape and log-style appearance may suit a comfortable family room. We review the location, heating role and selected model’s installation requirements alongside the look.

A linear gas fireplace

A wider flame presentation can become a feature in a renovated room. The available wall space, viewing position, venting and surrounding finishes help determine the suitable arrangement.

An electric fireplace

Explore flame effects and built-in or other manufacturer-supported formats without a gas connection. Electrical requirements and the intended heating role still need to suit the appliance and location.

An insert or freestanding stove

An existing opening may suit an insert; a stove offers a different room arrangement. We assess the opening or placement, supply and venting requirements before recommending an installation.

The largest viewing area is not necessarily the best match. We also consider where you sit, the warmth you want and how the fireplace will be used. Finishes, accessories, fuel configuration and controls are confirmed for the chosen model rather than assumed from a catalogue photo.

Browse Continental fireplaces & compare them in your room.

Before installation, Climate Experts confirms the selected model’s fuel or electrical supply, venting where applicable, clearances and service access. Body, viewing and framing dimensions are different measurements. Canadian availability and warranty depend on the exact appliance; the room preview is a visual planning aid.

Compare models and read the available manufacturer specifications here on Climate Experts. Use the room preview to explore the appearance, then ask our team to confirm the exact Canadian appliance and installation requirements.

Continental fireplace model selection.

Current manufacturer-listed options include CB36, CB46, CBL36 and CBLX46. These are model references for comparing styles; the exact appliance, fuel configuration, trim and installation requirements are confirmed in your proposal. Compare models and specifications.

During a Toronto renovation or custom build, choose the fireplace before the wall and millwork are finalized. We review the room’s heating needs, viewing position, vent route, approved clearances and service access. A linear fireplace, traditional fireplace and insert are different installation choices: an existing opening should be assessed before a replacement is selected.

Bring the room plans, the finish you want and photos of the existing fireplace if there is one. We discuss what fits the space and coordinate the mechanical requirements with the builder. See our custom-home consulting and Toronto renovation approach.

Fireplace replacement & installation, planned together.

Replacing a fireplace involves more than matching the front opening. We review the existing unit, surrounding construction, supply connections and venting where applicable. For a new fireplace, we assess the proposed position and the work needed to make it part of the room. Those details help us give you a proposal that reflects the installation you actually need.

Start with your home

Send your location, a photo of the room and any existing model information. Tell us what you like about the current fireplace and what you want to change.

Review what can work

Assess the opening or proposed location, appliance requirements, access, heat expectations and related finishing or trade work.

Agree on the scope

Confirm the fireplace, selected accessories and included work. We offer fixed pricing from start to finish, with no hidden fees or additional costs for the approved quoted installation scope.

Understand your fireplace

Check the installed operation and walk you through the controls, everyday use and care relevant to your selected appliance.

Your proposal identifies responsibilities where electrical work, framing, masonry or finishing needs coordination. A room photo is useful for discussing appearance; it does not establish clearances or replace an installation assessment. Gas piping and venting must suit the selected unit’s requirements.

Financing is subject to credit approval. Review the lender’s offered terms and total borrowing costs before accepting an agreement.

Continental fireplace service, repairs & maintenance.

When a fireplace becomes unreliable or stops responding as expected, it helps to begin with the exact make, model and symptoms. Tell us whether the concern involves ignition, a remote, thermostat operation or another change you have noticed. We review the enquiry and confirm the appropriate service scope for your equipment.

After assessment, we explain the findings and proposed work before agreed repairs proceed. If an older appliance is better replaced, we discuss the installation implications as well as the replacement choice, so you can consider the whole project.

Service enquiries

Share model details and a description of the issue to help our team plan the appointment.

Professional maintenance

Care needs depend on the appliance and installed arrangement. Follow the selected model’s instructions and ask us about suitable ongoing maintenance.

Controls & homeowner support

Ask for help understanding the controls and ordinary operation. Features differ by model and the accessories installed.

Fireplace care is confirmed separately. It is not automatically part of the matched furnace/air-handler and heat-pump/A/C Maintenance 365 base plan. We can review the equipment in your home and explain appropriate coverage and additional service options.

Questions about Continental fireplaces.

Can Climate Experts help me select a Continental fireplace?

Yes. We discuss your room, preferences and budget, then review suitable options and their installation requirements. The proposal confirms the selected model, accessories and scope.

Can I replace an older fireplace with a Continental model?

We assess the existing opening, installation, supply and venting before recommending a replacement. Similar front dimensions do not mean that all the existing components can be reused.

Should I choose gas or electric?

That depends on the heating role, appearance, available connections and installation requirements. We can explain the practical differences for your room without treating one format as the answer for every home.

Can a gas insert go into my existing fireplace opening?

A suitable opening may accept an insert, but the dimensions, condition, venting arrangement and selected model’s instructions need review. The assessment confirms whether the proposed installation can work.

Does the room preview measure my wall?

No. It places a movable manufacturer photograph over your room photo or camera image. You can adjust its size, position and crop for an approximate appearance comparison. It does not measure dimensions, verify clearances or show a final installation.

Are all shown models in stock?

The gallery presents manufacturer listings, not our inventory. We confirm the specific model, configuration and availability before it is included in your proposal.

Can you help with fireplace controls and repairs?

Tell us the make, model and issue. Our team can review the enquiry, confirm the service scope and explain proposed repairs after assessment.

Does fireplace maintenance come with Maintenance 365?

Fireplace coverage is reviewed and quoted separately. The base plan is for the eligible matched heating and cooling equipment and does not automatically include a fireplace.

Which communities do you serve?

Our team is based in Pickering and serves Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Scarborough, Toronto, Markham, Richmond Hill and Stouffville. We work with residential and light commercial customers and do not work on condos.

Can I also compare Regency fireplaces?

Yes. Our separate Regency page has its own catalogue and room comparison. Climate Experts can help you discuss the options in the context of your room and budget.

Let’s make your fireplace plans feel manageable.

Bring us the room photo you have been saving, the older fireplace you would like to replace, or simply an idea of the space you want to enjoy. We will help you connect the appearance you like with a practical installation conversation and a clear proposed scope.
