Choosing Daikin for your home

Daikin FIT is particularly useful when outdoor space matters. In Toronto side yards, additions and renovations, the equipment location needs to work with access, windows, snow and neighbouring properties. We plan the indoor and outdoor equipment together, rather than choosing a condenser first and trying to make the rest fit afterward.

A Daikin furnace and FIT heat pump can form a dual-fuel system; an appropriate air handler can support an all-electric design. Ductless equipment addresses a different need: room-by-room heating and cooling where adding full ductwork would be disruptive. Is Daikin FIT suitable for a narrow Toronto side yard?

Its compact side-discharge design is useful where a traditional outdoor unit is bulky. We still check the exact manufacturer clearances, snow exposure, windows, service access and neighbouring property before selecting the location.

Should I choose a FIT heat pump or FIT air conditioner?

A heat pump provides heating as well as cooling. A FIT air conditioner provides cooling while the furnace handles heating. We compare your fuel choices, electrical capacity and winter heating needs.

Does every FIT system qualify for the advertised rebate?

No. The current manufacturer offer applies to eligible complete R-32 FIT systems through participating Comfort Pros. The model combination, purchase date and participation must be checked before the rebate is included in your quote.

Can I control the system remotely?

Compatible Daikin One controls offer connected operation. We explain thermostat compatibility and any optional remote monitoring or dealer diagnostic access before setup.

What is included in a Daikin installation quote?

The quote identifies the selected equipment and controls, installation scope, applicable warranty and any confirmed rebates. Tell us about comfort problems, planned renovations and access restrictions so those needs can be assessed before the scope is agreed.

Can you maintain my Daikin system after installation?

Contact our Pickering service team for maintenance planning. The visit and schedule depend on the equipment, its condition and the manufacturer’s requirements. Maintenance 365 options can be reviewed with the specific systems you want covered.
