KeepRite equipment: compare the system, not just the badge

These manufacturer-published families are a starting point for a proposal. We confirm Canadian distributor availability, the exact model and capacity, and the equipment we recommend for your home before ordering.

G97CMN Ion furnace

Climate Experts compares the G97CMN’s modulation range with the heating demand of your home before choosing a size. We check duct airflow and discuss whether a complete Ion communicating system is worthwhile, including how the furnace would act as backup if a compatible heat pump is part of the project.

G96VTN QuietComfort furnace

The G96VTN gives Climate Experts a two-stage furnace to compare when you want more even heating without the full modulating-system scope. We pay particular attention to duct resistance and the blower settings, then explain how its constant-torque motor and thermostat arrangement differ from the G97CMN option.

B5A1V Ion air conditioner

For B5A1V, Climate Experts reviews the entire communicating cooling system instead of pricing the outdoor unit in isolation. We compare the proposed coil and blower, discuss humidity control during longer cycles, and check the outdoor location with nearby bedrooms and neighbours in mind.

N5A5S Performance air conditioner

Climate Experts can use N5A5S as a straightforward cooling comparison when the existing furnace remains suitable. We verify coil compatibility and cooling airflow, then make the line-set work, condensate drainage and electrical scope clear so the lower equipment price can be compared against a complete installed proposal.

Discuss C5H6S Ion heat pump with Climate Experts

Maximum efficiency ratings apply to specific tested combinations. Your proposal identifies the matched indoor and outdoor equipment; an operating-temperature limit does not guarantee full heating capacity at that temperature.

Choosing KeepRite for your home

KeepRite furnace, air conditioner and heat-pump choices cover different budgets and comfort priorities. We explain what changes between single-stage, two-stage and modulating equipment, including blower operation and the controls needed to use those features. Your quote should make the selected system clear, rather than describing every option simply as high efficiency.

For a furnace replacement, we assess the existing ducts and return air as well as the heating load. If you are considering a heat pump, we compare an all-electric arrangement with a compatible furnace for dual-fuel operation. In a Toronto renovation, equipment access, electrical work and outdoor placement can influence the installation as much as the product family.

Before equipment is ordered

We review the heating and cooling requirements, installation access and service space. The written proposal names the equipment, controls and agreed work.

When the installation is complete

We commission the system, explain the controls and maintenance, and document the applicable registration and warranty details.

KeepRite warranty: parts, equipment and labour

Coverage depends on the exact equipment, Canadian certificate, installation and registration. Parts, heat exchangers, equipment replacement and labour are separate benefits. Read the family-specific terms above; our written proposal identifies the coverage for your selected system.

Current KeepRite offers and rebate planning

Manufacturer promotions change by model, location and dealer participation. Ask us to check any current Canadian offer against your exact system and purchase date; we show confirmed eligibility and expiry dates in the written proposal.

For heat-pump projects, review Ontario rebate planning before purchase. Program eligibility is separate from a manufacturer promotion.

KeepRite questions homeowners ask

What is the difference between Ion and Performance equipment?

Ion equipment includes comfort and control features that vary by model, including communicating and variable-speed options. Performance equipment offers simpler alternatives. We compare the exact quoted models rather than treating a series name as a specification.

Does No Hassle Replacement cover every repair?

No. It is a limited replacement benefit triggered by specified component defects within the applicable period. It is different from parts coverage and does not automatically cover labour or all installation costs.

Can a KeepRite furnace support a heat pump?

A compatible furnace, heat pump and control can form a dual-fuel system. We check the matched combination, heating load and changeover strategy.

Do you service existing KeepRite systems?

Contact us with the model number, symptoms and location for repair or maintenance planning. The equipment age and parts availability help determine the appropriate visit.

What is included in a KeepRite installation quote?

The quote identifies the selected equipment and controls, installation scope, applicable warranty and any confirmed rebates. Tell us about comfort problems, planned renovations and access restrictions so those needs can be assessed before the scope is agreed.

Can you maintain my KeepRite system after installation?

Contact our Pickering service team for maintenance planning. The visit and schedule depend on the equipment, its condition and the manufacturer’s requirements. Maintenance 365 options can be reviewed with the specific systems you want covered.
